Passionate about street art and skateboarding, the Parisian architect Nicolas Simon starts to customize boards he collect. He finds in this support a real freedom in comparison with the constraints of his work of architect. For his first series, he was inspired by the colorful world of the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) in Mexico. So he naturally called this series of 8 boards: ‘Calaveras’, which means skull in Spanish.
