Like Han Solo in Carbonite, this amazing screaming face is caught in a skateboard. This work was made by the artist-sculptor Gaël Flin, aka Liou Kouma. He is passionate about the art of destructuring or restructuring from other materials: boards. For this scupture entitled ‘Le cri de ma board’, he used 12 boards and spent dozens of hours. His process was to create a mold to measure the amount and distribution of wood plies before tackling and cutting.
