For 19 years, Hungarian illustrator Jáger Attila has been skateboarding and reusing his old decks to tell his graphic universe. His series have been exhibited in several clubs, skateshops and galleries in Estonia and Hungary. For this one, the comic artist explains: “Mythology of Self was a personal project. I created when I was living in Tallinn, Estonia after I moved there from Hungary. The main themes are the love of skateboarding, anxiety and leaving Hungary.”
