Set up by the Belgian Bart Warnier, WHAM office publishes artists’ objects in limited series. After “The Last Supper skateboard” by Musketon, it’s with David Bruce that he associates for this board entitled “Summer Vibe”. Born in Paris, the artist wanted to pay tribute to the playgrounds on which he played in the Paris region. Here as in his art in general, the artist works on a palette of positive, joyful and vivid colors. Like his paintings, this skateboard (based on a drawing made with an iPad) is a testament to his masterful mix of graffiti and stylistic illustrations. A never-ending story of inanimate objects and iconic shapes brought to life in bright colors and refined compositions.
Produced in only 40 copies, the board is for sale on WHAM‘s website and to see more of David Bruce’s universe, he is currently doing an online solo show for the Swiss gallery Kolly Gallery.
