Chilean brand Anthology Skateboarding recently unveiled a new collection of boards entitled “Refuse to Lose.” This series is a continuation of the brand’s work, known for its bold graphic collaborations and its roots in the South American skate scene.
The rich, detailed visual universe imbued with psychedelic aesthetics by German artist Florian Schommer immediately captures the attention. The three boards in the series feature narrative motifs: a stylized jaguar surrounded by elements inspired by billiards, a column of flamboyant skulls, and a strange face with an escalator entering its mouth.
The name of the series, “Refuse to Lose,” evokes a combative energy that finds a natural echo in skate culture, where perseverance and pushing oneself beyond one’s limits are at the heart of the practice. Recently unveiled, the series should soon be available on the Anthology Skateboarding website.
