As much a painter, photographer as artist and curator, Douglas Miles is above all an Apache passionate by skate. The founder of Apache Skateboards made this triptych during his residency in San Francisco. The boardsfeature historical photos of the Western Apaches in the 1880s, when the people were still considered a hostile tribe to America considered a tribe hostile to America.
Made fromspray paint , acrylic marker and paint on used decks, the text is hand written featuring the names of Apache leaders from the past.
