For this first collaboration, Wallstreet Skateshops called on its rider Guillaume Nozieres, aka Gigi, to create a series of two boards inspired by the world of Miles Davis.
The first, Mosaïque, explores the idea of fragmentation and rhythm. The shapes seem to come together like the tiles of a modern fresco, creating a vibrant, almost improvised composition. Like a jazz solo, the contrasts follow one another, respond to each other, and clash.
The second, Double Pick, takes a more minimalist but equally expressive approach. Here, the design plays on tension, lines, and breaks. Like a graphic variation echoing the first board, it showcases a subtle duality, a back-and-forth interplay reminiscent of the sound dialogues characteristic of modern jazz.
