Collage Photo Series By Solowood Skateboards 14

Since 2009, Solowood Skateboards has been collaborating with artists from all over the world such as Elna from Brother of Lights or Lucas Beaufort. For this new series named “Collage Photo Series”, the brand compiles the photographic work of 12 skateboarders. The collage was designed by Daniel Solís Vuurmans, the founder of Solowood, using the group’s photographic material to create a large composition that unites the 6 boards that make up the series.

He tells us: “The collage was designed by Daniel Solís Vuurmans using the photographic material of the group, in order to materialize a great composition uniting the 6 boards that make up the series. As skateboarders and inherent city beings, our photos reflect the urban context where we live. Forms, shadows, people, experiences and architecture intermingle when we are skating on the street. Creative restlessness is an intrinsic value of skateboarder, and active documentation is another. Solowood is continuous exploration, this book is about skateboarders and coincidentally there is not a single photograph of any skateboarding trick; we are more than skateboarding.”

The photographers are @christianmora_m @dsv_analogformat @pedros_fotography @robbindewit @_loquelaluzpinto @stdbyproject @renegade_1818 @8daniel_san8 @mky_to @lionheart_1983 @don.nava #jansolenthaler
